Strain IPTV Player

I built Strain IPTV Player because I was tired of bloated, confusing IPTV apps. As a solo developer, I wanted something clean that just works for everyday watching — and I made it for others who want the same. Please provide feedback to improve app further :)

Strain connects to the IPTV service you already pay for (Xtream Codes–compatible panels). It does not include channels, movies, or series by itself. You bring your own provider login.

What you get:

• Live TV, Movies, and Series in one dark, easy-to-read Windows app

• Favorites and watch history saved on your PC

• Straightforward playback without a maze of settings

• Built for Windows desktop (EXE)

What Strain is not:

• Not a source of free or pirated streams

• Not a VPN and not a content provider

• Soft subtitles are still being improved after launch

If you have a working Xtream username and server URL, Strain is meant to feel simple: open, sign in, watch.

App does not ship its own video catalog. Users connect their own IPTV provider. Shown content depends on the user’s subscription. No social feed, no public posting, no required IAP to use the player. Treat as a media/entertainment client for user-provided streams.
